Most of us left the Elks around 4:30 pm on Friday. By the time we got to the campsite it was around 7:30 and we set up camp. The next morning we left at 8:30 to go to the river. After we got our wetsuits on we headed down to the launch site and got on the river. Some rafts got stuck on a rock at the beginning. After going through many rapids we stopped to have chicken fajitas. After lunch we went through the biggest rapids of all and everyone got soaked. We then took buses back to our vehicles and drove back to camp. Many of us played in the snow. The older scouts pulled some younger scouts in a sled. Later we sat around a campfire and the leaders told a scary story. The next morning we left for Phoenix around 10:30.
