We left from the Elks Lodge around 7:30. On the way we stopped at Circle K in Payson. When we got to the cabin there was a little snow on the ground. We all ate lunch and got our snow gear on. After that we went up to the Mogollon Rim to look for more snow. We found an area with some good hills for sledding. We sledded, had snowball fights, and some people built a snow fort. Then we went back to the cabin and the first-years cooked meatballs and pasta. Later, around the fire, Mr. Pela told a scary story. Then we all went to bed. It snowed in the night, so in the morning there was fresh snow to play in. After we ate breakfast we packed up, cleaned the cabin, and left.
